New from Osborne! Finally there is
a set-it-yourself grommet kit for size 00 grommets. This size
is perfect for your corsets and craft projects. It contains the
punch, die, and 48 nickel finish grommets and washers. There are
full instructions on its use on the back. It also contains a hole
cutter but it is much better to use a tapered awl instead. Look
for the awl on our website as well.
From Clover. This is the best tool to
make holes in fabric or leather for your grommets. If you use a
hole cutter the fibers will immediately start to fray. If you use
an awl the fibers will spread open and most will not break. After
inserting your grommet the fibers will immediately close around
the grommet holding it more securely.
We finally found some new collar studs that really work. They have gilt shafts and pearlized plastic bases. The longer one is for the front of the collar and the shorter one is for the back of the collar. They can also be used on shirts fronts or cuffs. They are $2.00 each piece.
